Laundry Room Decor At Home Questions Answered!

  1. Where can I get imported Italian laundry detergent?

I have tried googling it, but I can't find anything. I live in a Midwestern city with some Italian grocery stores, but I can't find it there either. I want it for decoration for my laundry room because I have a Tuscan decor in my house, so even some sort of tin that says detergent in Italian would be ok.

  2. How should I decorate my college apartment?

I'm a 20 yr old male who attends the University of Maryland. Next semester I'm living in a nice 4 bedroom apartment on campus. How should I decorate it, what things should I put in it? I want it to be nice, cozy, and respectable but cool at the same time.

  3. How do I redecorate an ugly bedroom on a tight budget?

Its a really dull average size bedroom with a bed and a wall cupboard. I can afford a couple of paint buckets for the walls, beds and cupboard, and a few other accessories.

  4. How do you clean a fabric covered cornice board and valances attached to a fabric covered...?

...curtain rod? The material is not removable. I can't take it off to have it dry cleaned, and it is getting too dirty for just vacuuming. Thanks

  5. Does anyone have some thrift store shopping tips (for furniture and decor)?

I am renovating my bedroom so the walls will be a Tiffany blue, the bedding is black and white damasks, and I want furniture that looks a bit like French boutique type furniture. I will later then paint it black or white. Any tips on the best furniture finds at thrift shops?

  6. Do you know a nice budget hotel in Rome?

I'm looking to spend no more than 100 euros for a double with bathroom. Basic accommodation is fine, but want somewhere safe and central. Thanks! Or hostel with private rooms

  7. Help finding a Wisconsin cottage rental?

I need help finding a cottage/cabin rental in Wisconsin. I prefer the lower half of the state - I don't want to go further north than Door County. The ideal rental will have no more than a 2-night minimum (the week of October 8), is in the woods, relatively secluded, on a lake or river, sleeps 2 and has an outdoor hot tub. Do you know of such a place? I have googled and googled but have only found one that meets my requirements. Alternatively, if you KNOW of a site where I can search that allows you to select the amenities you want, that would be great. I've come across some that allow you to search for some things, but I want to be able to limit searches only to those with outdoor hot tubs. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
