Winnie The Pooh Nursery Decor Questions Answered!

  1. Does anyone know where I can find Peter Pan nursery decor?

I've been given my step sisters gently used green gingham crib bedding and was thinking, since i don't know the sex, that peter pan would be a great theme with all the different characters that are in the stories. Although I'm not against other suggestions I've even been thinking of Winnie The Pooh, but felt that its a little common but of course that means it would be much easier to find coordinating pieces. Any help is much appreciated.

  2. I have gone to so many stores to find decors for my baby's room and I am disappointed any advice?

I am 28 weeks and want to start decorating my baby's room and I have gone to Kmart, walmart, target, and burlington coat factory's baby section and can't find wall decors like winnie the pook posters, framed art, borders, etc. I need suggestions.

  3. Baby nursery, Winnie the Pooh theme, looking for creative ideas

so far we've decided to go with red-shirt pooh, rather than the classic pooh and we've decided to use a neutral color scheme, particularly light green but besides buying the "Winnie the Pooh" line of baby items that everyone else has (crib, bedding, mobile, lamp, diaper stacker, etc...) we just don't have many creative ideas to make this nursery our-own (one-of-a-kind) we've talked about getting a stuffed-animal hammock for the corner and using it to hold all the stuffed-animal Winnie the Pooh characters from our childhood (Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga, Roo, Gopher, Rabbit, Owl, etc...) we've also talked about painting some empty flower pots with the word "hunny" on the side and use them to hold little things like diaper creams and pacifiers, any little knick-knacks that baby needs handy as far as the walls go, we decided to frame finished mosaic style jig-saw puzzles of Pooh and Tigger rather than paint (since we rent) or hang the same old framed posters you see in all the nurseries link to one of the puzzles we are using: http://www.buffalogames.com/products/1000_piece_puzzles/disney_photomosaics/?tx_ttproducts_pi1[backPID]=70&tx_ttproducts_pi1[product]=165&tx_ttproducts_pi1[cat]=8&cHash=01fbc7632f We're really at a loss here, we want this nursery to be fun and playful, something the whole budding family can enjoy...can anyone offer any unique or creative ideas for decor? Specifically any Winnie the Pooh craft ideas, we are crafty people who would very much enjoy making something one-of-a-kind for our baby's room. We'd appreciate links to any sites with ideas as well. Thanks for any shared ideas! PS, to help get the creative juices flowing we've been doing research on Winnie the Pooh's history on these sites: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winnie_the_Pooh and here's some more specific history to the shows my husband and I enjoyed as children, the shows which we want our to base our nursery off-of: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_New_Adventures_of_Winnie_the_Pooh Thanks again!

  11. Where can I find Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, Piglet and Eeyore ( as babies ) nursery decor?

Ok...I'm due in 2 months and my baby decor is Winnie the Pooh but not regular Pooh items. Baby Pooh and Friends ( ie Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet as babies ). I've search all over the internet for these items and the only place I can find anything is on Ebay and they're located in the UK. I'm trying to find an internet store anywhere in the world that has REAL Disney BABY Pooh and Friends items, so I can order them all in one place. Can anyone help me out? Ok....I've gotten 2 answers so far and neither answer my question. I've looked at Babies R Us and Walmart but they don't have what I'm looking for. SOOOOOO here's a link to a picture of BABY Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger and Piglet ( I saved on my photobucket ). The picture shows what I want them to look like. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v632/micknkids/babypoohandfriendscute.jpg

  12. Do-It Yourself Sesame Street Wall Decor?

I'm looking for some sort of Sesame Street Wall Decor that I can make myself to hang in the nursery of our new baby. I have found a lot of Dora and Winnie the Pooh, but no Sesame Street.

  13. Ideas For Nursery Theme & Decorations?

I found out today that I'm most likely having a baby girl. I'm 20 weeks pregnant so I am going to go shopping tomorrow for the nursery and start putting that together. There are so many cute nursery themes out there, that I just can't choose. I definitely want a lot of pink to be used, I also really like lilac and mint green. I don't want a cartoon theme like Winnie the Pooh - more something like butterflies, or fairies, or unicorns etc. The furniture will all be white. The room is quite average sized, so I am sure all the furniture will fit nicely without every wall being covered. There will also be a fair bit of floor space left. I am thinking of getting a bookshelf, and putting books and cute ornaments on it. Any ideas? What sort of toys are worth buying at this stage? I will be using a white wicker basket, that will be lined with a fabric that matches the rest of the nursery as a toy box. I need to buy all the furniture, which so far on my list is: Crib Glider/rocking chair Change table Dresser Bookshelf Wicker basket Bouncer Bassinet Anything I've missed? The extras I will be buying are: Curtains Bedding Lamp Toys Books Photoframes Ornaments Wall decorations Rug Anything else?

  14. Unique Nursery Theme?

I'm having a baby boy in October and I still have not completely decided on a nursery idea. I want something unique that people don't do very often. It seems like EVERYONE is doing the jungle theme, so I was thinking maybe I would do Dinosaur or Planes or maybe trucks and cars. Are these very popular or can anybody help me think of something else unique?

  15. make your own wall decals?

Me and my mom are about to start working on my baby's nursery. the theme is winnie the pooh and we found an idea for the walls online but we cannot find the stencils we need for it. So we have to change the original idea. I would like to put a border of small squares about the size of my palm around the room. originally inside the squares would have had pooh, piglet, and tiger silhouettes. but now since we cant find the stencils i would like to put baby pooh and friend wall decals in the squares. problem is, they dont have baby pooh wall decals. is there a way i can make them myself? is there printable decal paper?

  16. Help with Nursery decor for baby boy to be sharing room with sister?

I am expecting my baby boy in about 6 weeks. I still need to choose a theme for his crib bedding and other room decor. We are in a 2 bedroom place, so he has to share a room with his sister. All of her stuff is zebra. It's not cartoonie at all- mostly zebra print in fact. And it's mostly her cribbing. I need the decor for him to match what the room already looks like. The walls are painted bright green. I was thinking about anything that is black and white so even if the themes don't match, the colors do. I would rather find something with a matching color, than pick an animal for him. Any ideas?

  17. Nursery/Room Decor for boy & girl...?

I'm getting more and more excited as my pregnancy continues. I know I'm only 8-9 weeks, but I'm going to have so much to do before the new baby gets here. My husband, daughter, and I live in a two bedroom house. My husband and I have a room, and my daughter is in the other. Right now her room is a cream color on top and a honey color wood from mid wall to floor. Her room is decorated in a pink, purple, and green ladybug and flowers theme. All of her furniture is honey colored wood. She and the new baby will have to share this room. I will eventually be moving her to a toddler bed and have the crib for the new baby. (I plan to put the new baby in a bassinet in my room to begin with). If this baby is a girl, then I will have no problems in decorating. Just more pink will be fine. But what if its a boy? Any ideas on decor for a shared room for a boy and girl. I was thinking maybe a farm theme? Maybe give her cow print bedding or something with a little pink, and can use the farm for a boy? Any ideas are greatly appreciated. Building on is not an option right now, but may be later...
